STAR SC, through its GOALS program, provides financial aid to those individuals who can demonstrate need. GOALS is designed to assist STAR Soccer Club players and their families who may be denied the opportunity to grow and develop in the sport of soccer because of financial limitations.

All applicants requesting financial assistance complete a confidential disclosure form which enables the GOALS committee to assess the relative need of all applicants.

Awards are made directly to the player's team. To protect individual privacy, the names of recipients are not disclosed - only the number of awards and the dollar amount granted.

Total amounts awarded are limited by the club's budget and ongoing success in fund-raising efforts.

Eligibility is limited to STAR SC youth players, under the age of 19.

What is the GOALS program?

A. GOALS is a financial aid program aimed to assist STAR soccer players and their families in meeting the expenses associated with participating in Select soccer.

What should I do to request financial aid from the GOALS program?

A. 1.) Let your coach know that you are interested.

2.) Read the financial aid program guidelines. Click here for a copy!

3.) Complete an application.

4.) Mail or email the application to the Club Scholarship Committee (CSC) at the address shown above.

When is the entry deadline?

A. For the Spring season, the deadline is March 15.

For the Fall season, the deadline is July 15

Who should apply?

A. GOALS is not a funding program to which families should apply simply to see if an award is granted. Rather, it is a financial aid program that makes participation in select soccer possible.
