Home Game Rescheduling Procedures
As soon as it is determined (by STAR SC team or opponent) that a reschedule is needed for a STAR SC HOME match an email should be sent to STAR SC Field/Referee Assignor.  If we are asking for the reschedule then notification should have been sent to opponent first. (Emails do not need to be sent to Director of Coaching unless requested by DOC.)

Coaches should then work with opponent to come up with two or three possible game dates. Once you have agreed on dates with your opponent the following email should be sent to STAR SC Field/Referee Assignor:

Request:

All reschedules must be posted on the CUSL website as well.  This is done by logging into the TEAM page on the website and clicking on Record a game score/Reschedule a game in the lower right hand corner of the page.  Follow the online prompts to reschedule a game.  Please note: game times cannot be adjusted on the site.  The reschedule will still list the original game time.

Away Game Rescheduling Procedures
If STAR SC team is initiating the reschedule request promptly notify the opposing team via email (email addresses for each team in a designated division can be found on the CUSL website by clicking on either "Club Coaches" and searching for the opponent's club and team or by clicking on the Standings link in the navigation bar.)

Regardless of which team is initiating the reschedule, teams should provide 3 dates for potential rescheduling of the match.  Notify your team families of the change in the schedule ASAP and the potential reschedule dates asking for any known conflicts in those dates.

Keep in mind that ALL communications between teams regarding reschedules should be conducted via email per CUSL suggestions.

NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION NEEDS TO BE MADE TO THE CLUB Director of Coaching or the CLUB Field/Referee Assignor for AWAY Match Reschedules.
CUSL Scheduling Guidelines

3/23/12

RE-SCHEDULING APRIL MATCHES. Any April match that has to be re-scheduled due to a spring break or tournament conflict may be post-played any time during the season. We expect each team to be diligent in trying to re-schedule the match so it is played within a reasonable time, and not put it off to the last week of the season. If any coach believes his/her opponent is not being reasonable in re-scheduling, the 'CUSL Spirit' provides for the Club Representatives to work to resolve the conflict. Only if it cannot be worked out at the club level, should the Boys or Girls Director, as is appropriate, become involved; the Director has the authority to re-schedule the match.

JUST A REMINDER: Any match scheduled to be played after June 10 has to be re-scheduled and played no later than June 3. . . . . . Some matches are scheduled on field ' * ' ... this occurs on some days when there is not enough time to play all matches because too many teams have been assigned by the club to a field. If you are scheduled for one of these matches, it is to be played the day it is scheduled, unless teams agree to pre-play. The home team is responsible to secure a field and referees. If you are in this situation, please begin immediately to get the match correctly scheduled.
