Club Philosophy

STAR Rush is a member of Ohio Soccer Association and our teams compete in Ohio Soccer State League, Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League, Cardinal Premier League and Great Lakes Alliance.

Under the leadership of our professional staff, STAR Rush continues to focus on individual player development with an emphasis on long term vision versus short term goals which will help foster a lifelong love for the beautiful game. Rostering players at their age group (8U-15U), we aim to appropriately challenge each individual at the club and provide an environment which allows them to grow both technically and tactically, while playing at the appropriate level of competition.

Utilizing our club core values and Team Captain Incentive during training sessions and games, we hope to develop; integrity, teamwork, respect, character, sportsmanship and leadership in each of our players from our Rising STAR Academy through our eldest players in the club.

STAR Rush is a family friendly club and we care about the entire family.  To do this we have to provide programming, resources, and activities that allow families to engage with us and we will communicate clearly with families and give them responsibility to be involved with the club.

Club Culture

STAR Rush always puts the player first.  We place the highest priority on our players and their development over anything else when making decisions.  We know that decisions we make today will have an impact immediately and in future seasons, so we strive to make decisions that are ethically sound and player focused.  The leadership of STAR Rush will endeavor to display the highest integrity and accountability when making decisions and will not sacrifice the long term health and welfare of players for short term rewards.   We treat all players with respect, dignity, compassion, grace, and more importantly honesty.  No coach is to put his or her own success above the player, team or club.  No official in our club is to put the welfare or success of the club over the player, our players are always the number one priority.

As a club, we understand that our coaches are the people who have the biggest impact on our players. We are committed to the continued development, education and support of our coaches in order to provide our players the best experience possible at both training and games. We ask that coaches are eager and willing to learn and support each other and the goals of the club.
